Smartass Puts Up Wind Generator and Saves Big Bucks

Jeff Letterman

Looking at me, you'd probably think I was a smartass and you'd be right. But, this smartass has joined thousands of others and put up a wind turbine and you haven't. What does that make you? Not as good as a smartass? Yes, I do believe so.

You see I was green before green was cool. I was green before Kermit the Frog was saying that "it's not easy being green" or whatever it is that frogs say when someone's hand is stuck up their hindquarters.

So, why would you actually go to the time, trouble and expense to want to build and put up your own wind turbine? You wouldn't, so don't. Have you stopped reading yet? Doh! Okay, you got me, if you put up a wind generator, you'll simply save DOUGH (Doh! not included).

Yes, you'll go green - blah, blah, blah. It's good for the environment - blah, blah, blah, and greenhouse gases and global warming need to be addressed (can I get another blah, blah, blah here?).

But the real reason is that your utility bills are too high. You know it, I know it and the Power Company knows it. They don't care. They will keep chugging out fossil fuels, sending that charge of electricity through your wall and charge you by mail every month as well.

Well, you know what? I rebelled against this crap and you can, too. You don't have to let the power companies continue to charge you whatever they feel like, adding all those mystery surcharges to your bill. In fact, they just make up a bunch of little charges just to peeve the people who actually read their bills.

But, you know what the answer is? You buy one of the sets of instructions that I'm advertising on this page. If enough people buy from me, then my grandma gets a new colonoscopy - hurray, I think.

And, what you get is one weekend you take a trip to the hardware store and you build that wind generator. You put it up, set it and forget it. And, when your monthly electricity bill comes in you can raise the appropriate finger in the direction of your favorite utility company.

The Reviews

Wind Generator Plans from Canadians Les and Jane, who have themselves been living off-grid for the past 15 years are first rate. They also are wonderful people who offer great support. The website isn't as flashy as the others but these are the original people selling the plans on the Internet. They even offer a FREE FIRST CHAPTER of the book for those who want it.
Earth 4 Energy hit the market with a splash last summer and has redefined what a green company should be. The plans are well laid out, easy to follow and are the most popular sets of plans on the Internet now. They even offers solar panel instructions as a bonus.
Power 4 Home is the new kid on the block in regard to homebuilt DIY wind turbine plans. But being the new kids means they have to prove themselves that much more. To do this they are offering extra bonuses such as a list of exclusive parts suppliers and tax forms for renewable energy credits.

Okay, to recap, you're going to buy one of these sets of wind turbine instructions first because you want to and second because I will then be able to pay for a doctor to stick a scope up my grandma's butt and check for polyps. Next, you're going to build and install your wind turbine. And, third you're going to write me an email stating how funny I am and how thankful you are that you've taken my advice.
